Black Mold In Basement
there are many possible black mold health risks so you need to wear all the proper safety equipment and set up a proper containment area.
To get rid of black mold, you must be careful to control the mold contamination. This basically means ceiling off the room where the mold is located so the black mold doesn't escape into other rooms and spread into other areas of the house. Do not skip this step, it is very important.
The second step to getting rid of black mold is to pick the right black mold cleaning solution. There are many house hold products that can kill black mold with that are non toxic. like vinegar in water, borax, peroxide, etc. I do have a list and directions on how to make these solutions to kill your mold and they will work for black mold and white mold removal.
One thing you need to remember is that black mold in basement needs some source of water to grow. This can even be high humidity levels created by a drier vent not installed properly, condensation from water pipes, water seeping in through the walls, or any place. So, once you do remove all the mold you must take care of this water problem because your mold will return if you don't. If you live in a area that has high humidity then you might want to get yourself a dehumidifier to help dry the air in the basement.
